People often ask me why I am such a nice guy. I have to answer that I can afford to be nice because there is a Father in Heaven who knows me by name, who loves me, and wants the best for me. I didn't always think this, but have been persuaded there is no other answer to "the Big question".
I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
I believe the Scriptures say, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jer 29:11
I believe the Scriptures say, "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:2-3
I believe John 3:16, and that He stands at the door of our hearts, waiting for us to let Him in.
I let Him in, now I answer to Him in everything I do. I ain't perfect, I'm not even good. But my hope is in Jesus Christ who, by historical accounts, lived, died and arose from the dead.
